Comme pour son prédécesseur "Let's Go Eat the Factory" sorti fin 2011 et qui voiyait le groupe de Robert Pollard se reformer avec le line-up de la fin de leurs années lo-fi (période "Under the Bushes, Under The Stars en 1996) avec Tobin Sprout, Mitch Mitchell et Greg Demos. Ce "Class Clown Spots A UFO" est un disque sans surprise mais extrêmement addictif pour les amateurs de leur chef-d'oeuvres du début des années nonante "Alien Lanes", "Bee Thousand", "Vampire on Titus" ou "Propeller".
