Ce disque rassemble des ballades anglaises et écossaises interprétées par des artistes américains de la seconde moitié du 20e siècle. Elles avaient été compilées par Francis James Child au 19e siècle dans un recueil nommé "Child Ballads". Les thèmes sont divers: murders ballads, amour, jalousie... Livret détaillé en anglais. (ASDS)
