Film italien de 1968.

"Evocatively spare and moody work from Ennio Morricone -- recorded in 1969 with a small combo that features harp, viola, flute, vibes, percussion, and the voice of Edda Dell'Orso, the beautiful singer whose voice graced some of Morricone's best soundtracks! This is one of those records that's uncommon in the Morricone canon, far different than much of the soundtrack work he did in the late 60s & early 70s, a real triumph of spartan atmospherics and delicately evolving intensity. The best numbers, as you might imagine, feature insane vocals from Edda -- drifting in a way that almost sounds like a theremin, instantly chilling, and very very cool! The original soundtrack includes the title piece in 16 parts, from the title to the finale -- and this CD edition includes 5 bonus pieces, all in stereo, and a concert suite version, in mono."
