Ruben Gonzales (1919-2003) est un pianiste cubain actif des années 1940 à 60 dans diverses formations de mambo, cha cha cha et jazz, puis à nouveau dans les années 90 grâce à sa participation aux groupes Afro-Cuban All Stars et Buena Vista Social Club. Cet album enregistré en 1996 propose différents rythmes cubains joués au piano, entre son et jazz, et accompagnés à la trompette, à la basse et aux percussions. Livret en anglais. (ASDS)
