KHAYJÏLAR: CHATKHAN AND KHAY OF THE KHAKASS

Ce disque, enregistré à Tokyo en 1997, est consacré aux musiques et chants de la république de Khakassie, voisine de Touva. Chant de gorge lié aux épopées chantées, accompagné par la cithare chatkhan. Il y a également d'autres instruments : le khomïs, luth à deux cordes répandu dans toute la région sous des noms différents, la flûte sïïlas, la guimbarde et le luth à deux cordes ïïkh. Répertoire varié. Artistes qui jouent aussi dans Sabjilar. Quelques notes en anglais. (ASDS)
