Deuxième effort du groupe de Robert Wyatt formé juste après avoir été congédié de Soft Machine. La musique est plus abstraite, plus expérimentale et s'ouvre à d'autres influences : Brian Eno y joue du synthé en invité et la production a été confiée à Robert Fripp.
