Stephen Duffy, chanteur et musicien anglais a participé à divers projets (Tin Tin, Me Me Me, The Devils...) et a notamment été le premier chanteur des Duran Duran (qu'il a quittés en 1979), parallèlement à cela il a continué à enregistrer ses projets solos sous son nom ou différents pseudonymes (DR. Calculus, Tintin).
Memory & Desire compile 36 morceaux (entre folkpop et chansons intimistes) extraits de son répertoire, enregistrés entre 1986 et 2009 et nous permet de (re-)découvrir le talent de ce songwriter injustement méconnu. [I.K]
