La famille Gershwin fait l'acquisition d'un piano. La mère, Rose, veut faire de son fils aîné un grand musicien. Mais voilà que George, le fils cadet, s'installe devant l'instrument et se met à jouer... À travers le regard imaginaire du piano de George Gershwin, Susie Morgenstern nous raconte la jeunesse du musicien, son enfance à Brooklyn, sa découverte du jazz et du music-hall. Et de sa voix à l'accent new-yorkais, elle incarne avec humour les personnages de son récit. Dès 5 ans.
