L'artiste jamaïcain Mark Perry alias Omar Perry (fils du légendaire Lee « Scratch » Perry) nous propose son cinquième album intitulé «New Dawn». L'opus comptabilise quatorze morceaux de reggae roots spirituels qui abordent la justice, l'émancipation (« Freedom »), la foi (« Living Legend [Jah Live] »), la détermination (« When One Door Close »), l'amour (« Sweet Love ») et la transmission aux jeunes générations (« Sound the Trumpet »). Le projet est enregistré avec le groupe Français Soulnation Band et des musiciens renommés comme que le français Jonas « koffi » Gouraud, Kubix, Guillaume Briard, Suga, Stepper et bien d'autres encore. On découvre aussi trois featurings vocaux : Jah Mason, Cedric Myton et Bouchkour & Komlan. (CL)
