Ce cinquième volume de la série Nine Decades retraçant la carrière de Ravi Shankar présente une oeuvre composée et interprétée en 1989 pour le Birmingham Touring Opera Company. Shankar s'inspire des musiques traditionnelles populaires et joue une musique qui était destinée à la danse (kathak, bharatanatyam et kathakali). Il y intègre également des éléments occidentaux, notamment au niveau de l'instrumentation. Quelques notes en anglais. (ASDS)
