OUTMOSPHERIC ARTS OF THE OUTMOSPHERE

"Each track, on the surface, is a scintillating drone. But they are really much more. At times I feel that this music operates as an alternate frequency to that of My Cat is An Alien; both trawling the vast spaces. Whereas MCIAA often nail a feeling of solitary, for me anyway, an interpretation of the immensity of space, of the void, Ben Reynolds' music feels more like a suspended state, in liquid maybe; maybe deep sea as opposed to deep space. Or both. Deep-space claustrophobia, ocean floor claustrophobia, but in a digital realm. www.benreynolds.tk
