Le label Soul Music Records publie le coffret « Reloaded, The Complète Recordings 1972-1974 ». La galette contient les rééditions des trois premiers albums du groupe de Soul californien Maxayn (actif deux ans) : « Maxayn », « Mindful » et « Bail Out For Fun ! ». En tout, vingt-six chansons soul-Funk et Rock groovy et psychédéliques interprétées par la sublime voix de la chanteuse Maxayn Lewis (née Paulette Parker), accompagnée entre autre de son mari André Lewis aux claviers. Un ensemble atypique porté par des claviers vintage, des synthétiseurs, une boite à rythme primitive, des guitares spatiales et des voix passées à travers divers filtres sonores. (CL)
