Le 7e album studio des Beatles est sorti le 5 août 1966, celui-ci pose les bases d'une nouvelle ère dans la façon d'enregistrer la musique, mais aussi de présenter une oeuvre au public. C'est à partir de Revolver que les Beatles vont considérer le studio comme un lieu d'expérimentation. Après le succès mondial de 'Let It Be', voici la réédition multi-formats de Revolver. L'album enregistré sur 4 pistes et sorti en mono à l'époque, a bénéficié d'une toute nouvelle technologie développée par les équipes de Peter Jackson pour La série Get Back. Ce qui a permis de recréer les multi-pistes à partir d'une intelligence artificielle et de nous proposer une toute nouvelle version stéréo.
