"Flat": Live performance and 16mm film projection of identical activities - using painted 4"x 4" alternating squares, a checkerboard grid is painted over an 8'x8' area. As the live performer paints one checkerboard, the filmed performer fills in the alternating spaces. Both performers are the artist.
