Compilation en deux cd de chansons populaires de style "occidental" (jazz, musique hawaïenne, tango, afro-cubain) interprétées par des chanteuses féminines des années 30. Certaines d'entre elles avaient des parents japonais vivant à l'étranger: Fumiko Kawabata d'Hawaï, Cherry Miyano de Los Angeles et Marie Yvonne qui a été la première chanteuse japonaise à interpréter le tango en espagnol.
