La langue Taa du Botswana est une des plus complexes au monde. Elle possède 112 sons différents, là où les langues européennes en comprennent entre 30 et 60. Le peuple Taa peut ainsi raconter de très longues histoires en quelques mots à peine. Malheureusement, il n'existe aujourd'hui que 2500 locuteurs de la langue Taa et elle est en grand danger de disparition. Le label Glitterbeat publie un enregistrement de terrain de Ian Brennan, qui s'est rendu dans les villages isolés de ce peuple oublié, où il a enregistré pour la première fois les chants de ses shamans et leurs ballades.
