Pas une année ne passe sans une nouvelle compilation pour Joni Mitchell. La prêtresse folk, qui a remis récemment toute sa discographie à disposition sur Spotify, présente aujourd'hui une nouvelle collection de raretés et remasters, couvrant la fin des années 70. The Asylum Albums (1976-1980) paraîtra à point pour la Fête de la musique, le 21 juin (via Rhino Records) et se dévoile avec un remaster tout frais et clinquant du morceau « Coyote », à l'écoute ci-dessous. Le coffret sera disponible en plusieurs formats : 5CD et 6 vinyles 180-grammes (édition limitée à 5000 exemplaires), ainsi qu'en version digitale. The Asylum Albums (1976-1980) comprend Hejira, Don Juan's Reckless Daughter, Mingus et l'album live Shadows and Light. Au programme également, des notes écrites par... Meryl Streep, grande fan de Joni Mitchell, qui lui rend un saisissant hommage.
