THE END OF THE FEAR OF GOD

"Fear of God, often abbreviated to F.O.G., is a Swiss grindcore band who were active in the mid-80´s. They started in 1987 and broke-up in 1988, but reformed in the middle of 2002. Their first release was a self-titled, 21-track 7" EP, released in 1987. It was one of the first grindcore albums, and was very extreme for its time. Their most well-known and acclaimed work is the Pneumatic Slaughter EP. The band is not to be confused with a number of other Fear Of Gods. One was a Los Angeles thrash metal band that eventually morphed into F.O.G., who was then based in Baltimore.
