Cette compilation comprend les deux MTV Unplugged de R.E.M., diffusés en 1991 (un set construit autour de l'album Out of Time) et 2001 (sans Bill Berry et centré sur Reveal) par la chaîne. Le coffret contient également pas mal de titres qui avaient, à l'époque, été coupés au montage histoire de respecter le format de l'émission passée à la postérité.
